Course Summary:
In this 3-hour entry-level class, participants will gain a solid foundation in pistol handling. Key aspects include checking pistol condition, establishing a proper grip and stance, achieving accurate sight alignment and sight picture, executing a precise trigger press, and mastering basic loading and unloading procedures. Through hands-on training and theoretical understanding, participants will develop the skills necessary for safe and effective pistol use.

Pistol Condition Check:
- Identify and verify the condition of a pistol, ensuring it is safe to handle.
- Know if the gun is loaded or unladed.

Required Equipment:
- (50 rounds of ammo is included per shooter.)
- Striker-fired pistol *
- Hearing protection, electronic is required *
- Safety glasses *
- Hard external holster with retention * or outside waistband holster (OWB)
- Pants with a belt must be worn
- Brimmed hat
- Close-toed shoes
* If you do not own your own equipment, you can rent or buy ours! Rental equipment starts at $25 a session which includes a pistol rental if needed.
